About the role

Gracey Engineering is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team in the Blue Mountains and Central West NSW region. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and diverse projects.

What you'll be doing

• Interpret and follow engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate and weld a range of metal components and structures

• Operate a variety of welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding

• Fabricate, assemble, and install metal products and structures

• Perform quality checks and ensure work meets safety and quality standards

• Collaborate with the engineering team to provide input on design and fabrication methods

• Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

• Strong skills in MIG, TIG, and stick welding, with the ability to produce high-quality welds

• Experience in the fabrication and assembly of metal components and structures

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to safety and quality standards

• Relevant welding certifications or qualifications (desirable)
