About the role

Are you an experienced truck driver looking for a casual role with a leading freight and logistics company? FNQ Freight and Logistics is seeking a motivated and reliable Truck Driver to join our team in Cairns, Queensland.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operate trucks

• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely pickup and drop-off of freight

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Load and unload freight, securing loads appropriately

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and other stakeholders

• Adhere to all relevant safety policies, procedures, and government regulations

What we're looking for

• A current Heavy Rigid (HR) or (MR)

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a truck driver

• Knowledge of load restraint and safe driving practices

• High Risk work license is preferably, but not essential

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities

• A commitment to safety and a demonstrated history of safe driving
