Position Descriptor:
Yalata Anangu School is part of a remote Aboriginal Community in the Anangu Lands Partnership and is situated on the Far West Coast approx. 200 kilometres west of Ceduna on the edge of the Nullarbor Plain in South Australia. The school has a strong focus on developing oral literacy and phonological awareness, reading and writing, together with developing social and emotional school readiness. The school has established strong transitions from preschool to school.
The person will be responsible for leading three sessions of playgroup over 3 days. They will need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high knowledge of birth to year 3 education through play. The person will collaborate with the Preschool teacher and Early Years Coordinator as well as interface with the community.

In addition to the salary, the following financial incentives apply:
