The School

Jurien Bay District High School (DHS) is seeking an English Teacher to join their high quality regional school.

Jurien Bay DHS is located on the pristine Turquoise Coast, 200 kilometres North of Perth and 200 kilometres South of Geraldton. The town is surrounded by beautiful beaches and fabulous camping areas. The staff and community are welcoming and is a great place to live and enjoy both work and leisure time.

The school caters for students from Jurien Bay, Leeman, Green Head and Cervantes and the surrounding farming districts. The school provides an educational service for a range of students from Kindergarten to Year 12.

Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south west teachers

Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
