This is a 36 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 4, 2025

The Role

Halls Creek DHS is currently looking for an inspiring and innovative Early Childhood Education Teacher to join our friendly and welcoming team.

The successful applicant will ideally be experienced in creating engaging lessons whilst utilising explicit instruction and High Impact teaching strategies. They should be proficient in managing classroom dynamics and supporting the academic and personal growth of students. We are seeking applicants who develop a positive classroom culture which includes high expectations, inclusion and individualised support. The successful applicant should ideally possess flexibility, and adaptability, as well as the ability to implement differentiated instruction and explicit teaching techniques. They should be able to work collaboratively within a team, displaying effective communication skills.

Teachers and school administrators employed at Halls Creek District High School in 2025 are eligible to receive a temporary Attraction and Retention Incentive of $3 500 (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro rata for FTE and tenure). Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at the school, with the remainder paid at the end of the school year. Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to be eligible to receive the second payment.

The temporary ARI payment is in addition to other incentives that may apply in this school.
