About The Role

Located in various locations across Gold Coast and reporting to the Support Manager or Service Leader, you will work within the Purpose and Values of Aruma. You will be part of a high performing Support Team working towards delivering a positive customer experience to those in our care.

Provide direct care within a residential setting, ensuring a safe and nurturing home-like environment and promoting positive family relationshipsYou will have resilience to work within a trauma-informed framework that makes a real difference with young people who have complex needs and challenging behaviours

What You’ll Need

Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care), or equivalent (click here to view more details) or working towardsValid Australian full driver’s licence, for the state you have applied forValid Australian working rightsWillingness to complete a Child Safety and Personal Screening CheckHold (or are willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid and CPR qualifications.

Skills And Experience

Availability to work any rostered shifts across a 24/7 roster model, including awake nights and sleepoversYou are passionate about supporting young people who have experienced trauma and have a disability
