We are currently looking for a highly motivated, passionate retail leader to become a full time Store Service Officer in our Garbutt store. You will be responsible for cash office tasks, such as preparing floats and balancing registers and floats. You will maintain the administration of the store, prepare and send invoices and wage sheets for Support Office, also prepare reports for the Store Manager. The store Services Officer is also responsible for the scanning control tasks such as, fixing scanning policy errors, and updating pricing and tickets.

Essential Criteria

• High level of personal integrity and accountability 

• Experience in rostering and workforce planning

• Substantial customer service experience 

• Supervisor skills 

• Cash handling experience

• Understanding of WH&S and food safety requirements

• Able to communicate clearly and negotiate with people from different backgrounds and roles (such as suppliers, customers, or staff)

• Good literacy and numeracy skills (for example: ability to calculate hours, balancing cash register results, comprehend company policies, fill in forms)

Preferred Criteria

• Retail, banking or FMCG experience

• Experience using an ERP, such as NAV, Oracle, SAP
