We are looking for exceptional Psychiatry consultants to join our Mental Health and Specialised Services team within Sunshine Coast Health in the following areas:

As a Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service employee your salary includes:

• Base salary comprising of between:
  • L18 – L24 Staff Specialist 
    • $103.05 - $119.32 p.h. (p/t)  
    • $8,244.00 - $9,546.00 p.f. (f/t)
  • L25 – L27 Senior Staff Specialist 
    • $122.77 - $130.05 p.h. (p/t)
    • $9,822.00 - $10,404.00 p.f (f/t)
• Motor vehicle allowance (pro rata for Part-time)
  • $21,000 p.a. L18 – L24 Staff Specialist
  • $25,500 p.a. L25 – L27 Senior Staff Specialist 
• Attraction and Retention Allowance up to 50% of base salary 
• Overtime and on-call allowances (paid by exception)
• Professional development allowance $21,500 p.a. (pro rata for Part-time)
• Generous superannuation of up to 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
• Annual leave loading

Our Staff Specialist/Senior Staff Specialist (Psychiatry) positions join a growing Mental Health and Specialised Services department providing high quality psychiatry management within Sunshine Coast Health. These roles work in collaboration with the other clinicians and leaders to provide multidisciplinary consideration of needs.  The Staff Specialist/Senior Staff Specialist (Psychiatry) will need to be consumer and carer focused and will have sophisticated skills when working with families and other carers.
