Speech Pathologist – Nerang Clinic 2026 Graduate Role

BillyLids Therapy · Gold Coast, Queensland

About BillyLids Therapy

BillyLids is a family-run, multidisciplinary paediatric clinic founded by two clinician sisters: one an OT, the other an SLP, who are passionate about helping children thrive. Our work is guided by shared values: we are playful, kind, ethical, inquisitive, empowering, and collaborative in everything we do.

We’re currently seeking a graduating Speech Pathologist to join our Nerang clinic in 2026. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for paediatrics who’s excited to begin their career in a supportive, clinic-based environment that values collaboration, learning, and playful, evidence-informed practice.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, close-knit team providing therapy to children under 10 and their families. In this role, you’ll:

  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based SLP services primarily in a clinic setting

  • Work alongside experienced OTs and SLPs in a multidisciplinary team

  • Receive structured supervision and mentoring from senior SLPs

  • Participate in case discussions, family-centred goal setting, and playful intervention planning

  • Build strong relationships with families and contribute to our team culture

Why Choose BillyLids?

  • Salary: $80,000 plus superannuation

  • 5 weeks of annual leave per year

  • Grad-friendly structure: 80% caseload for new graduates, with protected time for learning and reflection

  • Achievable Caseload: Up to 4 clients per day (typically 3 in-clinic and 1 in the community), with 20 client hours per week (including direct and indirect work such as session preparation and report writing) for the first six months, increasing to 25 hours moving forward

  • Weekly supervision & mentoring from experienced paediatric SLPs

  • Generous CPD support: Paid leave and a yearly budget

  • Dedicated admin team for scheduling and logistics

  • Well-resourced clinic with a budget for therapist-preferred materials

  • No work on public holidays—we prioritise therapist wellbeing

Who We’re Looking For

  • A playful and curious SLP who loves working with kids

  • SPA registration (or graduating imminently and eligible for registration upon completion of your course)

  • WWCC and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

  • COVID-19 and flu vaccination

  • Full working rights in Australia

  • A collaborative team member who brings warmth, initiative, and a child-centred mindset
