Melbourne Sports Institute is currently recruiting enthusiastic basketball referees to join our team for the Inter School Sport - Girls Sport Victoria (GSV) Competition in Term 4, 2025.

Games are played between 4:00pm and 6:00pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from early October till early December.

Fixtures are available at the following suburbs: Clayton, Mentone, Camberwell, Glen Iris, Albert Park, Ivanhoe, Canterbury, Heidelberg, South Yarra, Balwyn, Kew, Box Hill, Burwood and Mount Eliza.

We offer competitive rates starting from $40 per match with an opportunity for back-to-back games!

Staff are paid fortnightly and have the potential to take on further refereeing opportunities throughout the year for both midweek matches and tournaments.

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Possess or be willing to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check
• Have a deep understanding of basketball
• Possess significant experience in playing, coaching or refereeing the sport

Those with extensive playing experience are also strongly encouraged to apply for low-level matches!
