THE ROLE:

Voted Australia’s best Family Resort 13 years in a row, Paradise Resort is seeking Activity and Entertainment Attendants to join the team. If you have high energy and are enthusiastic about all things fun, we want you! Help our guests have a fun, safe and entertaining holiday experience like no other. 

The successful applicant will possess the ability to perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

Activities Attendant:

• Provide quality activities to in-house guests in a timely manner as per daily schedule (activities include teddy bear making workshop, jelly eating contest, slime making and much more!)

• Host events such as Games shows, Karaoke, Quizzes, Bingo and your own events based on your personal talents e.g. Leader of line dancing, Queen of Zumba etc...

• Host our Kids Club sessions - bring energy and creativity to our Kids Club! Play games, run activities and ensure a safe & welcoming environment for all.

• Organise, lead and promote interest in REC activities such as art, craft, games etc.

• Perform in our daily character shows, evening dance shows and special event shows (e.g. Halloween and Christmas etc.)

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in theatre, music, dance, comedy, etc., or in resorts, cruise lines or recreational facilities (desirable)

• Be a born ENTERTAINER; enjoy putting a smile on the guests face!

• Have experience in Birthday Parties and Kids Activities; including school groups (advantageous).

• Be available for a variety of shifts; including days, nights, weekends and Public Holidays.

• Maintain a high level of customer service at all times – create those Magic Moments!

• Have a current Queensland Blue Card, or willing to attain one (requirement).

• Have a current First Aid and CPR Certificate, or willing to attain one (requirement).
