Position: Residential Care Youth Worker - Contractor Position ABN

Responsibilities as a contractor:

• Develop strong and supportive relationships with the youth in our care, acting as a positive role model and mentor.
• Create and maintain a safe and nurturing living environment within our residential facilities.
• Assist in the development and implementation of personalized care plans for each resident, addressing their unique needs and goals.
• Provide meal preparation for residents, ensuring their dietary requirements are met with nutritious and balanced meals.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to youth, helping them build essential life skills and coping mechanisms.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for the residents.
• Plan and participate in recreational activities, educational programs, and cultural events to promote social and emotional growth.

Requirements:

• Genuine passion for working with youth and making a difference in their lives.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for transporting youth and attending off-site activities.
• Blue Card (or working with children check) to ensure compliance with child safety standards.
• Must have an Australian Business Number (ABN) or the ability to obtain one.
