The Opportunity:

Located at our V&V Walsh facility in Bunbury, which processes both beef and lamb products, this full-time Rendering Operator position offers a hands-on and dynamic work environment. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical, practical work and are looking to develop their skills with the opportunity to become a qualified renderer.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Monitor and listen to machinery during operation

• Operate and maintain cookers, ensuring temperatures are correct

• Operate key rendering equipment including:

  • Cooker and Press

  • Hammer Mill

  • Shaker Screen

  • Grease Centrifuge

  • Decanter and Polisher

• Ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently

• Adhere to safety, hygiene, and quality standards at all times

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Forklift Ticket (essential)

• Boiler Ticket (desirable – ability to turn off steam systems)

• Physically fit and energetic

• Comfortable with physical and manual work

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
