About the role 

Based in our Cambridge facility and reporting to the Joinery Services Manager, this role requires an experienced Timber Joiner to perform a range of site and workshop-based tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for completing quality joinery in our workshop;

• Interpretation of drawings, prepare timber and organise all components to manufacture quality products to client specifications;

• Work well in a team environment;

• Manufacture and installation of timber windows, stairs and doors;

• Use of various machinery such as a thicknesser, planer, buzzer, sander, spindle moulder, tenoner, morticer and table saw.

Skills & Experience:

• Must have a relevant trade certificate in joinery;

• Ability to use their own initiative

• Has a high level of accuracy

• Ability to follow written & oral instructions; 

• Enjoys the practical aspects of being a tradesman;

• Adaptive to continuous safety, efficiency, and quality checks/improvements.
