As our operations continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement and Inventory Assistant to support both our procurement and finance functions.

About the Role:
This part-time role (25 hours per week) provides hands-on support to both the Procurement Manager and Finance Assistant. You’ll be responsible for assisting with purchasing, inventory tracking, and invoice processing. A key part of this role involves ensuring that supplier invoices and stock movements are accurately allocated to vessel.

Simpro and MYOB experience is desirable but not essential – training will be provided to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

· Raise and manage purchase orders

· Receive and record deliveries and incoming stock

· Process supplier invoices, ensuring accurate cost allocation to jobs

· Ensure invoices correctly transfer through to MYOB

· Accurately allocate inventory stock to vessel projects

· Review stock on hand in Simpro to ensure stock allocation hasn’t been missed

· Save invoices for large vessel asset purchases in the job file for the Project Manager

- Equipment Register

What You’ll Bring:

· Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills

· Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks

· Experience in procurement, inventory, or administrative support roles

· Confidence working with systems (Simpro and MYOB experience desirable)

· A collaborative approach and willingness to learn

· Familiarity with job or project costing is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 – $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
