What's the role?
To ensure smooth and efficient support to practitioners, and provide
exceptional standard of care to patients. To be responsible for practice systems, stock and records within the nursing scope.
Responsibilities but not limited to-
• Perform clinical duties within required level of clinical competency, according to best available evidence.
• Triage
• Immunisations and other injections
• Wound management
• Chronic disease management
• ECGs
• Spirometry
• On doctors' instruction, oversee infusions and cannulate for same.
• Assist doctors with clinical procedures (eg IUD insertion, skin excisions) and maintain clinical documentation
• Perform diagnostic services (in particular, ECG and spirometry).]
• Explain procedures to patients, providing them with support and reassurance

Is the role right for you?
To be considered for this role, we will be looking at the following experience and qualifications:
• Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) and current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Immunisation provider training.
• Current professional indemnity insurance.
• Unrestricted right to work in Australia
• Desirable- experience and training in cannulation; minimum 12 months experience as a general practice nurse or similar primary care setting
