The team

Information Technology Services delivers core IT support and drives major transformation projects across ASIC, including application modernisation, data analytics, mobility, and cloud.

The Digital Applications team builds and maintains portals, integrations, and custom solutions—leveraging cutting-edge technology to deliver seamless digital experiences and position ASIC as a best-in-class regulator in Australia's financial markets.

The role

ASIC is seeking an experienced OutSystems Technical Lead to augment ASIC's existing Digital Applications team and lead a program scrum delivery team, with a focus on designing and delivering innovative digital solutions.

Responsibilities Will Include

Design and develop complex, responsive OutSystems web applications.Create detailed designs and proof-of-concept for key components and workflows.Provide systems analysis, technical input, and UX recommendations.Develop, test, and deploy OutSystems applications.Lead technical direction, code reviews, and troubleshooting.Align solutions with project goals and architectural standards.Ensure compliance with coding, privacy, and security standards.Maintain technical documentation and development guidelines.Coach and support ASIC staff through knowledge transfer.

About You

A successful applicant should possess many or all of the following:

3+ years developing and deploying low-code apps with OutSystems.End to end application project delivery with Outsystems.5+ years experience building web applications including delivery experience.Deep knowledge of OutSystems architecture, Service Studio, and LifeTime.Proven leadership of technical teams in project delivery.Skilled in applying human-centered design to web development.Experience shaping technical governance for low-code platforms.Agile, DevOps, and cross-functional team experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communicator with stakeholder engagement skills.Tertiary qualification in IT, engineering, or related field (desirable).
