About Kawana Private Hospital
Kawana Private Hospital is an accredited multi-disciplinary hospital that provides four operating theatres to offer a broad range of surgical services for all patients. Our modern surgical facility includes a ward for patients who require a longer stay to recover. We ensure best practice standards through continuous improvement and regular staff education and prioritise a positive work/ life balance for all staff.
The facility is open Monday to Friday, and hours may vary.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Theatre Orderly for a permanent part-time position (64 hrs/ fortnight) in providing support to the nursing team to undertake a range of services that supports the well-being of patients, visitors, staff and others. The position will be covering all areas of the hospitals.

Essential criteria
-
Previous experience in a Theatre Orderly Service or similar position

Demonstrated knowledge of manual handling techniques, including patient transfers.

Demonstrated knowledge of surface cleaning practices and techniques including infection control
-
Demonstrated ability to work in a manner which preserves patient confidentiality and Dignity
-
Experience working in a hospital environment

Current driver’s license
