We have developed a sustainable intergenerational site providing residential aged care, childcare, a medical centre, allied health services, and apartment living. About The Role
We’re looking for a passionate, friendly, and organised superstar to join our frontline team within the Medical Centre. You will work closely with clinical staff, reception staff, and the practice manager. This role is PERMANENT PART TIME, and requires someone with empathy, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to multitask.
Key Duties
Meet and greet patientsManage phone enquiries and schedule appointmentsMaintain a clean, presentable, and well-stocked reception, waiting room, and consult roomsManage medical records confidentially and efficientlyLiaise with team members and external providers for patient careGeneral administration duties: scanning, emailing, mail, banking, etc.Collection and entry of patient details into the systemParticipate in quality improvement activitiesSchedule monthly medication chart bookings for aged care residentsUndertake training for professional developmentParticipate in staff meetingsSupport the team to ensure smooth practice operationsReport to the Practice Manager
Essential Criteria
Medical or Dental reception experience preferred but not essentialMust provide a current driver’s licenceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisation and time management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExperience with Best Practice Software preferred, not essentialAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWilling to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening CheckWilling to obtain a Working with Children Check
Desirable
Current First Aid CertificateKnowledge of Medical TerminologyCertificate III in Business Administration or Certificate IV in Business
