As Maitre’d, you will oversee front-of-house operations, deliver outstanding service, and uphold Mures’ reputation for excellence. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will combine leadership, guest engagement, and operational coordination. Annual Salary $75,000 - $85,000

Key Responsibilities Welcome and seat guests, optimizing table allocation for smooth service flow. Lead and mentor the front-of-house team to deliver consistent premium service.

Manage reservations and guest flow using NowBookit, coordinating with kitchen and bar teams. Promote Mures-caught seafood and beverages to enhance guest experiences. Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, food safety, and workplace health and safety regulations.

Skills & Experience 3+ years’ experience as a Maitre’d or Head Waiter in a premium/fine-dining setting. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to manage high-volume service periods. Proficiency with reservation and point-of-sale systems (NowBookit a plus). Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.

Knowledge of seafood and Tasmanian beverages desirable. Personal Attributes Warm, professional, and engaging with a passion for hospitality.
