This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in finance, bookkeeping, or accounting who is looking for a flexible, part-time role in a supportive healthcare environment.

The Role
Working closely with the Practice Principal and Management team, you will take ownership of financial reporting and analysis, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our practice finances. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both detail and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain financial records using Xero

  • Prepare and review financial reports, cashflow, and performance tracking

  • BAS preparation and compliance

  • Associate dentist invoicing and reconciliation

  • Cost analysis and recommendations for efficiency

  • Tracking revenue streams and identifying opportunities to increase profitability

  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets and reporting dashboards for decision-making

What You Need to Succeed

  • Qualification in Finance, Bookkeeping, or Accounting (Cert IV, Diploma, or Degree)

  • Proficiency in Xero and Excel/Google Sheets

  • Strong financial reporting, analysis, and compliance knowledge

  • Previous experience in small business or healthcare setting desirable (but not essential)

  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and proactive mindset

  • Ability to work independently and contribute to strategic business decisions
