About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a permanent full time Diesel Mechanic based in our new, state of the art workshop located at our Warnervale site. The role is responsible for overseeing the repair and maintenance of American prime mover & semi applications including truck & dogs, Semi tippers & Walking Floors. In addition to smaller Japanese tippers. 

The successful applicant will hold the following attributes:

• Diesel Mechanic qualifications

• Extensive knowledge & experience in engine and driveline maintenance & repairs

• Experience working on Kenworth, Western Star & other American Trucks; Cummins, Detroit, Mack, Volvo & Mitsubishi Engines

• The ability to ensure compliance to NHVAS requirements while meeting WHS regulations.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a solid drive to lead by example.

• Ability to handle busy situations of in-coming work and adapt to the demands of an ever-changing confliction of priorities.

• Ability to assist in managing and ordering parts with site manager.

• Drivers License as a minimum. HR & HC license desirable but not a necessity.
