The OpportunityIn this role, you’ll provide expert engineering advice and play a key role in assessing development applications, construction works and survey plans. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure developments meet Council standards, align with the Planning Scheme, and deliver long-term, sustainable outcomes for the Noosa community.
You’ll also:Assess and negotiate moderately complex development and operational works applicationsUndertake site inspections, audits and pre-start meetingsEnsure compliance with development approvals, Council policies and engineering standardsReview survey plans, certificates and development documentationEngage with developers, consultants, internal stakeholders and the community
About YouYou’re an engineering professional with:Sound knowledge of land development, construction and civil engineering principlesExperience (or the ability to quickly build experience) in Queensland planning and local government standardsStrong communication skills and a customer-focused approachConfidence working with a level of autonomy while contributing to a collaborative team
