About the role

Bedrock Mining Equipment is seeking an experienced Draftsperson / Estimator to join our team in Mackay, QLD. This full-time role will see you applying your technical drafting and estimating skills to support the design, specifications, and costing of mining equipment.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare detailed engineering designs and technical drawing packages using Autodesk Inventor Software

• Generate New Build and Overhaul cost estimates and quotes

• Collaborate with engineering, sales and procurement teams to optimise designs and costs

• Ensure all drawings and specifications comply with relevant industry standards

• Maintain detailed records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

• Provide technical support and advice to internal and external stakeholders

What we're looking for

• Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting or higher

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in drafting or estimating within the mining or heavy engineering industry

• Proficient in the use of Autodesk Inventor and other CAD software packages

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant engineering standards and regulations

• Australian work rights are required for this position
