About the Opportunity This newly created role is the first hire within ASC’s growing Strategy & Transformation Office (S&TO), reporting to the Business Executive - S&TO.The Project & Governance Lead plays a critical enabling role, ensuring that strategies, plans and commitments developed within the division are effectively executed, tracked and governed. Working across Strategy, Transformation, Technology and Security, this position provides coordination, structure and assurance so that agreed priorities are delivered in line with ASC expectations.This role is well suited to someone with experience in project coordination, governance, reporting or PMO-style roles, who enjoys working across teams, building relationships and making sure things happen as planned. Responsibilities Supporting the planning, coordination and execution of Strategy & Transformation Office initiatives and work programsDeveloping and maintaining governance frameworks, processes and schedules to support delivery and complianceCoordinating inputs, reporting and documentation for ExCo forums, board reporting and performance reviewsUndertaking quality assurance checks on reports, board papers and presentations to ensure accuracy and consistencyMonitoring delivery of agreed actions, schedules and milestones, and proactively following up with stakeholdersSupporting risk, compliance and continuous improvement activities across the S&TO teamBuilding strong working relationships across the business to support collaboration and accountabilityProviding coordination and administrative support to ensure smooth and effective operation of the S&TO function
About you You are highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and priorities.You enjoy bringing structure to complex environments, following up on actions, and helping teams stay aligned to plans and commitments. You are confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and take pride in producing high-quality, accurate work.You are likely to bring experience from roles such as project coordinator, governance officer, PMO support or similar, and are looking for an opportunity to grow your career within a complex and meaningful organisation.
Eligibility This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
