We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team.
You will play a key role in crafting exquisite seafood dishes that delight our guests and uphold our reputation for culinary excellence. Annual salary negotiable depending on position and experience - Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality seafood dishes, ensuring consistency and adherence to our menu standards Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop innovative seasonal menus Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment in compliance with food safety regulations
Source and select fresh, sustainable ingredients, with a focus on local Tasmanian produce Contribute creative ideas to enhance the dining experience Mentor and train junior kitchen staff as needed
Requirements Proven experience as a Chef in a high-end restaurant, preferably with a focus on seafood Strong knowledge of seafood preparation and cooking techniques
Culinary qualification or equivalent professional experience Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment Passion for sustainability and locally sourced ingredients
Excellent teamwork and communication skills Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain) What
