Medical Ward 5 at Townsville University Hospital is a secure, specialised unit dedicated to the care of patients with delirium and dementia. Located on the ground floor of the ward block, the unit provides a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff. Competitive salary and benefits
- Salary between $35.92 – $38.12 per hour (Nurse Grade 3).
- 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading.

About your opportunity
As an Enrolled Nurse in Medical Ward 5, you will provide patient-centred care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will contribute to assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care, and support safety and quality initiatives. This is a permanent part-time role with negotiable hours.
Requirements
- Diploma of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration with AHPRA and practising certificate.
- Evidence of completion of medication administration and IV therapy modules (highly desirable).
- Ability to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.
- Compliance with VPD requirements.
- A probationary period may apply.
