C10: $85,075 (base salary $71,041 plus an annualised allowance W415 - $14,034)C8: $89,776 (base salary $75,742 plus an annualised allowance W415 - $14,034)C7: $91,920 (base salary $77,886 plus an annualised allowance W415 - $14,034)Plus superannuationPlus an attraction and retention allowance of 6% of the base salary for the duration of current certified agreement to 15 March 2027Plus a company vehicle for commuter use

What We Are Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Electrical / Instrument Technician to join our dedicated team. You will be responsible for providing electrical and instrumentation maintenance services to water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations and associated infrastructure. As an Electrical / Instrument Technician, you will be a key member of our Electrical Maintenance team, supporting the Principal Electrician and other team members, to ensure electrical safety, asset reliability and operating capacity.

What Your Day Will Look Like
Undertaking technical assessments on electrical and instrumentation assetsAssisting the principal electrician with administration associated with the electrical sectionUndertaking maintenance and inspection work ensuring safety and reliabilityExercising high level diagnostics on complex control systems and equipmentProviding technical guidance to colleagues
What You’ll Need For Success
Electrical trade qualification at Certificate III (AQF 3) or aboveMust possess computer literacy and a solid understanding of telemetry systemsConfined Space Certification (or ability to obtain prior to commencement)Current Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Tetanus immunisations (or ability to obtain prior to commencement)Current White CardAwareness of SafetyMust demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teamsCurrent “C” drivers’ licence
What’s Nice To Have
Additional Instrumentation trade qualification at Certificate III (AQF 3) or above – there may be opportunity for FCRC to assist the right candidate in obtaining this qualificationEEHA (Electrical Equipment for Hazardous Areas) certificationWorking at Heights certificationUnderstanding of / experience in Telemetry systemsPrevious experience in maintaining Water / Wastewater treatment plants, pump stations and associated infrastructure
