Male Disability Support Worker, Immediate Start

Coast Care Disability Services Pty Ltd is a registered NDIS provider committed to delivering high quality, person centred supports that empower individuals to live life their way. We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable Disability Support Workers for an immediate start.

About the role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide practical and emotional support to NDIS participants in their homes and throughout the community. Supports may include personal care, community access, social participation, daily living assistance, and respite supports. You will work closely with participants, families, and the wider care team to support individual goals and promote independence.

Key responsibilities

• Providing person centred, respectful, and safe supports
• Supporting participants with daily living and personal care as required
• Assisting with community access and social participation
• Implementing behaviour and support plans where applicable
• Maintaining accurate shift notes and incident reporting
• Promoting participant choice, dignity, and independence
• Working in line with NDIS Practice Standards and company policies

Essential requirements

• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working With Children Check
• Current First Aid and CPR
• National Police Check
• Full Australian driver licence and reliable vehicle
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and professional boundaries
• Minimum 21 years of age required
• Australian citizenship required
• Minimum one year of prior disability support experience required

Desirable

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or equivalent
• Experience supporting participants with complex behaviours
• Experience in community and respite supports
