We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Receptionist to join our busy private general practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication and organisational skills, who has a keen interest and commitment in providing excellent patient service and care.

Previous experience working in a medical setting is preferred.

Experience with Best Practice software is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner.

Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors, responding to their enquires in a timely, efficient and compassionate manner.

Manage incoming calls and schedule appointments using our practice management software.

Process patient billing and ensure accurate record-keeping.
-
Assist with varied administrative duties including, but not limited to, filing, scanning, fax/email, managing online appointment bookings and record/report transfers.

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards including privacy and confidentiality.

Australian permanent residency status is required for this position.
