About the Role
Twin City Hotel in Townsville is one of Australia’s largest pub venues, with multiple bars, a 500-seat buffet, sports bar, café, gaming facilities and a buzzing entertainment calendar. We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager / Assistant Venue Manager to join our leadership team.
This role is hands-on, people-focused and perfect for someone who loves hospitality, thrives in a high-energy environment, and is ready to step up into senior management.

What you’ll bring:

Proven leadership experience in pubs, clubs, bars, restaurants, or large-scale hospitality venues

Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team

Solid operational understanding – cash handling, compliance, gaming, and customer service

A genuine love for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
Qualifications required:

RSA & RSG (mandatory, or willingness to obtain immediately)

Approved Manager Licence (QLD) highly regarded (can be obtained on the job if not already held)
