Dispensary Technician – Part Time/Weekends

We’re looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Dispensary Technician to join our talented team. If you’re an experienced Pharmacy Assistant ready for an exciting new role — we’d love to hear from you.

Or, if you’re a Pharmacy Student seeking valuable hands-on experience in a supportive environment, this could be the perfect opportunity to grow your skills.

This is a part-time position including weekends. Hours are negotiable. Previous pharmacy experience is an advantage, though dispensary training will be provided for the right candidate.

What you’ll be doing

Support the dispensing Pharmacist with daily dispensary duties, including:

• Taking and processing prescription orders efficiently

• Maintaining accurate patient records while respecting privacy and confidentiality.

• Staying up to date with dispensary procedures and compliance requirements

Assist in the delivery of pharmacy services under Pharmacist supervision, such as:

• Dose administration aids

• Blood pressure monitoring

• Support the supply of scheduled medications

Provide excellent customer service with professionalism, confidentiality, and effective communication.

Assist at the counter and across the pharmacy to ensure the highest standard of patient care.

Maintaining efficient and accurate inventory and stock control in a timely manner.

Maintain general housekeeping standards within the dispensary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certificate II or III in Community Pharmacy is highly regarded.
