About the Role
As a casual Disability Support Worker, you’ll provide tailored support to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve their goals and live independently. You’ll work a minimum of 15 hours per week, with opportunities for more based on availability and client needs.

Essential Requirements
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) / Cert IV in disability
- Current Blue and Yellow Cards
- Valid Driver’s Licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
- Willing to travel up to 30 - 45 minutes
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Experience supporting individuals with ASD Level 3, particularly non-verbal participants.
- Comfortable providing personal care support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to non-verbal individuals with ASD Level 3 in daily activities, communication, and emotional regulation.
- Implement individualised support plans and behaviour strategies.
- Use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools effectively.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with therapists, educators, and families to support holistic development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
