About Us

headspace provides support to young people aged 12-25 experiencing mild to moderate or emerging mental health issues. The multidisciplinary team at headspace Wollongong work to improve health, social, vocational and educational outcomes for young people.

Grand Pacific Health is the lead agency of headspace Wollongong. We are a not-for-profit, primary health care organisation providing locally-tailored, high quality physical and mental health services across NSW and the ACT.

About The Position

The Dietitian will improve nutritional outcomes for young people accessing headspace Wollongong. The role involves clinical dietetic, preventative health and nutrition interventions for the management of physical health and chronic disease conditions.

The role will encompass the delivery of health promotion and nutrition services through both individual and group interventions. The position works closely with the headspace team, the persons existing General Practitioner and GPH partner agencies.

This position is available part-time (15 hours per week) to 30 June 2026 with possibility of extension.

We Are Looking For Someone With

Full membership of the Dietitians’ Association of Australia (DAA)Demonstrated ability to provide individual nutrition management of clientsUnderstanding of the issues in delivering dietetics services to young people Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including excellent time-management, prioritisation and planning skills
