About the role

We are seeking a part-time Dental Assistant/Dental Receptionist to join our friendly team at Dentist@Health in Baldivis. As a valued member of our dental practice, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth running of our operations. This position is for 3 days per week.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting the dentist during patient examinations and procedures by preparing the treatment room, sterilising instruments, and providing chairside support

• Greeting and welcoming patients, booking appointments, and managing patient records and billing

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked dental operatory

• Answering phone inquiries, scheduling appointments, and managing patient communication

• Supporting the dental team with administrative tasks and other duties as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist, with a strong understanding of dental procedures and practices is preferred but not required.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide a warm and welcoming experience for our patients

• Strong organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively

• Proficiency in using dental software and technology

• A passion for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of the dental practice

Our work day hours are from 8:00 - 5:30 pm. These hours are not flexible and occasionally we might work later due to the nature of our work.
