THE ROLE

We are looking for passionate Demi Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team within Doot Doot Doot. Set within a progressive, contemporary hotel, this role would suit someone with a genuine passion to create food that is delicious and exciting. 

  • You will contribute to the smooth running of our kitchen and assist in the management of a section.

  • Always observing best practice in food hygiene and health and safety procedures

  • Liaise with FOH team on a daily basis 

  • Lead, coach and mentor junior staff

  • Uphold kitchen team morale and ensure workplace is harmonious

  • Provide feedback to Head Chef on any issues that may arise

  • Able to adapt and succeed in high-pressure service periods

ABOUT YOU

  • Have previous experience preferably within a hatted restaurant or 5-star hotel

  • Fully understand how the role contributes to the success of the restaurant

  • Maintain a good level of understanding of the restaurant and hospitality industry

  • Go above and beyond to create ongoing memorable and unique guest experiences

  • Communicate clearly, professionally and concisely

REQUIREMENTS

  • WORKING RIGHTS - All candidates must have full working rights within Australia

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or similar qualification a must

  • Drivers License and access to a car essential
