About the opportunity – 

This is a unique chance to lead the operational planning and implementation of the new Cardinia Youth Hub – a vibrant, purpose-built multi-story space that will open in late 2027. The hub will co-locate multiple agencies under one roof to deliver high-quality programs, services, and education for young people aged 12-24yrs. If you’re passionate about creating inclusive, youth-centred environments and driving innovative community projects, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact. 

You will make an impact by 

  • Leading the development and implementation of policies, systems, and procedures for safe and efficient Hub operations. 
  • Driving governance and compliance frameworks to ensure best practice and sustainability. 
  • Coordinating collaboration between co-located service providers for seamless service delivery. 
  • Embedding Child Safe Standards and safety compliance across all operational aspects. 
  • Engaging young people and stakeholders to shape services that reflect community needs. 

What you will bring 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Youth or Community Services or equivalent experience. 
  • Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders. 
  • Strong knowledge of Child Safe Standards and youth-focused protective frameworks. 
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. 
  • Ability to analyse data, prepare detailed reports, and present information clearly. 
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. 
  • A current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
