We are a busy and professional smash repair workshop seeking a General Yard Assistant to join our team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong initiative, and a good understanding of the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Key staff and admin team to coordinate the movement of vehicles and parts across 3 adjacent sites

• Direct assistance to parts department

• Perform general yard duties

• Take check-in and handover images of vehicles as part of the repair process when required

• Use industry-based apps and software for vehicle documentation and workflow

• Assist tradespeople with various tasks as required, including deliveries and workshop support

• Keep the workshop and yard clean, safe, and well-organised

• Requirements:

  • General automotive knowledge (basic understanding of vehicles and parts)

  • Full manual driver’s licence – Essential

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team

  • Excellent time management and ability to follow instructions

  • Shows initiative and a can-do attitude

  • Physically fit and capable of working outdoors
