Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Credit Officer based in Surfers Paradise, QLD. The Credit Officer will be tasked with assessing credit applications, conducting detailed credit evaluations, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry regulations. Responsibilities include preparing credit reports, managing loan documentation, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and fostering strong customer relationships. The candidate will also play a role in identifying risks and recommending appropriate financing solutions.
QualificationsProficiency in credit assessments, loan processes, and financial analysisStrong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing documents and recordsExcellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and stakeholdersSound understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance in the finance sectorProficiency in financial software and tools as well as data analysisAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentBachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be consideredPrevious experience in lending, credit analysis, or a financial institution is an advantage
