Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Paralegal. This role will provide essential support to our team of senior solicitors in the property law department.

Due to our diverse client base, candidates with bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written, will be highly valued.

Tasks Responsibilities

  • Managing a diverse caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from initiation to completion, including sales, purchases, off the plan and transfers.

  • Liaise with clients, agents, financial institutions, local government authorities, Land Titles Office, Queensland Revenue Office, and a variety of key stakeholders

  • Draft and prepare legal documents, disclosure statements and correspondences

  • Preparation of settlements including PEXA workspace

  • Keep and maintain accurate file records

  • Perform general office and administrative duties as needed

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in conveyancing, with a solid track record of managing a diverse caseload of residential property transactions

  • Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin, both verbal and written (highly regarded but not essential)

  • Understanding of property law, regulations, and conveyancing procedures

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Sound time management and ability to prioritise competing tasks

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and take initiative

  • Experience with CRM system (Smokeball) and PEXA (desirable but not essential)
