The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Facilitator (Gastroenterology) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will

About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
- Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

- Permanent full time
- Base salary ranging from $107 960 - $ 115 604 per annum
About Us
The Gastrointestinal (GGI) ward is a 28 bed ward (physical and funded) located in C2East (C2E) at the Gold Coast University Hospital (GCUH). GGI is a mixed surgical/ medical ward caring for patients with Gastrointestinal (GI) and Gastroenterology (GE) conditions. Care of the patients can be pre or post-operative or non-surgical. The prime function of the ward is to provide high-quality nursing care (Registered, Enrolled and Assistant nurses) to both short and long stay patients who fit into the following criteria:
- Colorectal surgical conditions
- General and acute surgery
- Hepatobiliary patients
- Upper Gastrointestinal surgery
- Hepatic patients
- Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD) patients
