Seeking an Experienced Customer Service Officer to join our team!

Our client is based in Mount Isa and delivers high quality steel and aluminium products backed by local expertise, processing services, and reliable support for projects across construction, farming, manufacturing, and transport.

Your new role
Offers 38 full time hours per week with a family friendly schedule provided for the right candidate, plus optional school hours flexibility.

  • Full Time Mon to Thurs 8am to 4:30pm, Fri 8am to 4pm
  • School Hours option for the right candidate: Mon to Fri 9am to 2pm including school holidays

Responsibilities of this role may include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and follow up on customer quotes and purchase orders promptly, ensuring alignment with business objectives, pricing policies, and service standards.
  • Resolve customer issues effectively to deliver the best possible outcomes.
  • Provide accurate, timely updates on order status to keep customers informed.
  • Proactively assist customers with changes to sales orders, including delivery adjustments.
  • Support external sales teams with relevant market, customer, and competitor insights.
