About the Opportunity

Are you ready to take the next step in your healthcare career? We’re seeking a dedicated Sterilisation Technician Grade 2 to join our team at Gosford Hospital. In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Sterilising Services Department (SSD), ensuring all reprocessing services are delivered to the highest standards and fully compliant with statutory requirements.

This is more than just a technical role—it’s an opportunity to lead. You’ll provide guidance and mentorship to Grade 1 technicians, helping to maintain a supportive and efficient team environment. You’ll also liaise with internal customers to ensure our services continue to meet the evolving needs of the hospital.

About You

  • You are qualified in Sterilisation Technology, with hands-on experience in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary Sterilisation Services environment.
  • You have a strong understanding of relevant standards and guidelines, ensuring compliance and excellence within all SSD processes.
  • You are flexible and resilient, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, ever-evolving healthcare setting.
