The Opportunity

Tamworth Hospital is looking for a caring and dependable Wardsperson to join our operations team. In this vital role, you’ll support patient care and help keep our hospital running safely and efficiently.

Your compassion, professionalism, and reliability will make a real difference to patients, staff, and the wider community.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Provide assistance with patient comfort and hygieneSafely transport patients to wards, theatres, and imaging areas using wheelchairs or bedsMove equipment and supplies between hospital departmentsRespond quickly and professionally to incidents and emergenciesContribute to a safe, proactive hospital environment by following best practicesFlexible and available to work a rotating 24/7 roster
