Brief Description
An exciting opportunity is now available for highly motivated Casual Security Officer to join our team based in Shepparton. We are seeking a focused and team-oriented individual who can work in a diverse and inclusive environment and able to demonstrate the ability to uphold our values.
The scope of the role includes, but is not limited to:
Controlling the movement of all persons entering the site and the movement of all vehicles and goods entering/exiting the site.Provide a security service in line with the site SOP’s and site requirements in order to protect SPC employees, property and other assets.Greeting visitors and employees, issuing cards to authorised new starters. Monitoring all contractors entering the site to ensure insurances and inductions are current. Controlling the movement of all persons entering the site and the movement of all vehicles and goods entering/exiting the site. Monitoring the CCTV system & computer programs.
Rostering & Schedules
The initial roster will be two shifts
Mon – 10:00 pm to 6:00 am
Tue - 10:00 pm to 6:00 am
With Additional Adhoc Shifts As Required.
Applicants will be required to work weekends & public holidays.
Applicants will be required to work day shifts, afternoon shifts and night shifts.
It is not unusual for casual security guards to be rostered up to 40 hours per week.
Full Time Potential
This role has the potential to become a full-time position.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
A current Private Security Individual Licence Victoria.A current Victoria Driver LicenceCurrent First Aid certificate.Excellent communication skills, punctuality and reliability.Be proactive whilst maintaining discretion and confidentiality.Ability to work as part of a team.Proficient computer skills.Experience using C4 access control & Rapid Global software would be beneficial.Previous military or policing experience would be beneficial.2 to 5 years’ experience in the security industry would be beneficial.
