Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with basic food preparation, such as chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes.
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently and hygienically.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and storage areas.
• Dispose of rubbish and recycling in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotation.
• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with general tasks as required.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting (preferred but not essential).
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
• Reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic attitude.
