We are currently seeking experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our team in Hope valley in full time positions.

Applicants must have at least 5 plus years’ experience in a similar role.

This is an exciting opportunity for either:

An experienced Production/Workshop Supervisor wanting to join a supportive and close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily workshop operations and production scheduling

• Supervise and lead welders, fabricators, and apprentices

• Interpret fabrication drawings and job specifications

• Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and Australian Standards

• Monitor quality, productivity, and job progress

• Manage materials, consumables, and workshop equipment

• Reduce rework, waste, and downtime

• Liaise with customers, project managers, engineers, and site teams

• Support training and development of apprentices

Skills & Experience

• Trade-qualified fabricator or boiler maker (essential)

• Proven experience in a workshop management or leading hand role

• Proven experience in stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel fabrication

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication is required

• Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, and sheet metal processes

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

• Sound understanding of WHS and quality requirements

• Hands-on, practical, and solutions-focused approach

• Holder of various trade certificates

• General engineering and problem-solving ability
