About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join the dynamic team at SMART SCAN' in Mount Pleasant, Queensland. As a casual Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to the practice and its patients.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner

• Managing the patient reception area and ensuring it is well-organised and tidy

• Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments efficiently

• Handling patient enquiries and booking requests via phone, email and in-person

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and files

• Assisting with billing, invoicing and other administrative tasks as required

• Providing a high level of customer service to ensure a positive patient experience

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist essential

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients, clinicians and colleagues in a professional and empathetic manner

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

• Proficiency in using medical practice management software and other computer applications

• A positive, friendly and customer-focused attitude

• A team player who is willing to contribute to the overall success of the practice
