Joyce Mechanical Services is seeking experienced PAINTER to join their busy workshop in Mackay To be successful in this position, you should ideally be: Experienced in coating applications (Brush and Roller)

Competent with airless and conventional spray painting Competent with abrasive blast equipment Clean metal surfaces for painting

Sand and prepare parts for painting Paint components to a strict specification Wrap components for dispatch after painting

Ensure safe working procedures and practices are followed at all times Understand surface preparation and finishes. Be able to understand and complete works to specifications.

Be able to mix to correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc. Select paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers. Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness.

Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces. Erecting scaffolding and ladders. Cleaning equipment and work areas.

Desirable tickets: Good Communication Skills High-Risk License
