About Us: We are a Christian faith-based venue and events not-for-profit organisation that caters to the needs of schools, churches, youth groups, disability services, and other community-based groups. We operate several tier-one venues across NSW that specialise in outdoor adventure activities.
Job Description: We seek a reliable and skilled property maintenance and gardener to join our team and provide a safe, beautiful, fun campsite for all guests. The ideal candidate will perform various maintenance tasks, ensuring the CCC Camps Hawkesbury property is well-maintained and functional. Work within a friendly, supportive team that promotes teamwork, leadership, and resilience among our staff and guests.
Key Responsibilities:Perform general repairs and maintenance on cabins and commercial properties.Involvement in small maintenance/building projects, working with the Property and Facilities Team LeaderHelp prepare and pack up the centre for guests' arrival (e.g., set up the dining room, check cabins, construct a campfire, remove rubbish etc.).Be on call to respond to issues that may arise with groups on-siteHandle minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks as needed promptly and professionally.Conduct routine inspections to identify issues and ensure all facilities are in good working condition.Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.Maintain gardens and mowing onsite.
To be successful, you will need to have the following:Ability to undertake manual/physical workPunctual, reliable and energeticGood, strong work ethic and time management skillsConfident communication skillsWorking with Children CheckPrevious experience in maintenance, handyman services, or a related field.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as a part of a team and manage time effectively.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Compensation:Competitive pay based on experience.
